The VTX Series represents an evolutionary step in VOX’s Valvetronix Series. These amps combine sophisticated modeling technology with a multi-stage tube pre-amp circuit reproduce the unique distortion, touch sensitivity, and the response that is characteristic of classic tube amps.

Rated at 20 Watts, the VT20X is the most compact amp in the Valvetronix VTX lineup. Designed for the the studio or the rehearsal space, this small combo is loud enough for practicing and recording, or even a small gig. True tube tone is pumped through a custom designed 8" VOX speaker, while the intuitive control set makes customizing the VT20X to your liking simple.

The VT20X features a modeling engine built upon VET (Virtual Element Technology), which is based on an analysis of the components and amp circuits themselves. Thanks to the multi-stage Valvetronix tube preamp, the VTX amplifiers produce truly powerful and accurate tones. This preamp design incorporates authentic analog circuitry to achieve the subtle tonal adjustments and capture the nuances that are distinctive of vacuum tube amps. In addition to this clever circuitry, VTX amplifiers feature a tightly sealed cabinet and a proprietary bass-reflex designed to deliver stunning resonance.
